March 20, 2017: Force Motors has launched its Gurkha range of vehicles at a starting price of Rs 8.38 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Available in two trims namely, Gurkha Xplorer and Gurkha Expedition, it's being offered with an option of a hard-top and a soft-top. Defying the rumours that the facelift version will get the 2.2-litre engine of the Force One, it continues to retain the 2.6-litre diesel mill generating 85PS of top power. However, this time the engine is BSIV compliant. With cosmetic upgrades both inside out, the Gurkha now looks more contemporary and appealing. With the BSIV compliant engine, Force Gurkha can now be retailed in metro cities of the country.
